AG Advisory was founded on a simple observation: the private household and personal executive staffing industry wasn’t serving people well on either side of the table.

Candidates with exceptional backgrounds were being ghosted, subjected to inappropriate screening, or placed in roles that were never properly defined. Clients with high standards and real needs were working with agencies that didn’t understand their world or the people they were responsible for hiring.

We stepped in to change that.

Where we come from.

AG Advisory was founded by Ami Graves, a senior HR executive whose career was built on one conviction: that how you hire says everything about what you value.

After decades leading people operations and talent strategy for high-growth organizations, Ami saw firsthand how differently the private household world operated, how rarely the professional rigor of corporate HR translated into this space, and how much that cost the people on both sides of a search.

She founded AG Advisory to close that gap. To bring the discipline, compliance, and candidate-first standards of executive HR into a world that had gone too long without them.

Alongside her, Marci Coppola and Sonja Lezama bring complementary expertise that rounds out the team: deep talent acquisition experience on one side, and luxury hospitality sensibility on the other. Together, they cover the full picture the process and the people.

Ami Graves

Founder & Principal

Ami brings decades of experience as a senior HR executive, with a career defined by leading people operations and talent strategy for high-growth organizations. She understands what exceptional hiring looks like, what it costs to get it wrong, and what candidates deserve from the people who represent them.

She founded AG Advisory with a commitment to professionalizing the world of private household and personal executive placement, bringing the rigor, compliance, and standards of corporate HR into a space that had long operated without them.

Ami personally oversees all search engagements, candidate representation, and the strategic direction of the firm. Every placement carries her name, and she treats it that way. 

Marci Coppola

TALENT ACQUISITION LEAD

Marci brings a disciplined talent acquisition background to AG Advisory, leading the identification, assessment, and vetting of candidates across all search engagements. Her process is thorough by design, because in private service, character and judgment matter as much as credentials.

She understands that the nuances of personality, professional boundaries, and long-term fit are as critical as any line on a résumé. Her focus is on building a pipeline of trusted professionals capable of meeting the quiet, exacting standards that AG Advisory’s clients require.

Marci ensures that every candidate who comes through AG Advisory is someone the team can stand behind, not just on paper, but in practice.

Sonja Lezama

CLIENT EXPERIENCE & OPERATIONS LEAD

Sonja’s background is in luxury hospitality, an industry where discretion, precision, and anticipating needs before they arise aren’t aspirational values, they are daily practice. She brings an intuitive understanding of the environments AG Advisory’s clients inhabit and the standards they live by.

Her role is to ensure that every interaction with AG Advisory, from first inquiry to final placement, reflects the same elevated experience our clients expect from the professionals we place. She oversees the end-to-end client and candidate experience, keeping every engagement seamless, professional, and rooted in trust.

Sonja is based in South Florida and leads client relationships and operations in the region.
